PSA Train-the Trainer Workshop: Become a Produce Safety Alliance Trainer!

This training is for produce safety educators and others who work with fruit and vegetable growers and are interested in becoming PSA Trainers or PSA Lead Trainers.

Those who become a PSA Trainer or PSA Lead Trainer may offer the PSA standardized curriculum to train fresh produce growers to meet the regulatory requirements in the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule. This curriculum was developed through a nationwide collaboration including produce growers, extension educators, researchers, produce industry representatives, and government personnel.

Participants must be present for all portions of the course to be eligible for the trainer certificate and to become a PSA Trainer who is eligible to offer PSA Grower Training Courses, under the leadership of a PSA Lead Trainer. If you need to take the PSA Grower Training Course, here is a list of upcoming courses: https://cals.cornell.edu/produce-safety-alliance/training/train-trainer-course/upcoming-train-trainer-courses
